Quantity Dilemma?

Here’s a simple formula for figuring cubic yards for mulch, soil, river rock, gravel, etc.:
length × width × depth ÷ 324
For example, 10' × 12' × 6" or 120 sq ft × 6" (depth is alway in inches) = 720 ÷ 324 = 2.2 cubic yards.

Most items are sold by the ton, and one ton is about one cubic yard.
